GPS Juniors proving a big hit at James Island
GPS Juniors is proving to be a hit at James Island Youth Soccer Club, with a great turnout for the opening two sessions of the fall season!
The GPS Juniors program is designed for children aged 3-4, with the focus of the program being on the development of motor, coordination skills and basic soccer skills that will set them up for a successful future in soccer.
The GPS curriculum is based on fun and energetic sessions in a positive environment where players are encouraged to play with visible enjoyment. The children are encouraged to develop social skills through sporting activity.
The first two sessions have seen great development already in all the players, as they start to learn the basic skills needed to go onto a successful soccer career in the future, whilst having lots of fun in the process.
Coach Chris Glover, who is one of the GPS Juniors coaches gave his views on the opening two Juniors sessions.
He said, “The GPS Juniors program is a really fun program for all children to be involved with and seeing the children enjoying themselves whilst learning the beautiful game is fantastic.
“I’ve been really impressed by the improvements already made by the children, as this early development will put them in a great position to develop into top class players in the future.”
GPS Juniors Sessions run every Tuesday from 4-4.45pm and will run for furthermore 6 weeks.
